My name is Doug Browning and I can't wait to meet you! My wife, Jennifer, is an Electricity Consultant and Independent Journalist and
we have two boys, ages 7 and 10.
In 2019 my family and I made the decision to leave Richardson, TX and move to Athens, where we have ranch property on Lake Athens
and a long family history.
In 1996, I began working in real estate and property management and in 2008 when I began working in the independent insurance adjusting field, I saw the devastation that can happen to unattended properties in a matter of a few days if gone unnoticed.
During that time I also co-founded a roofing and construction company which I operated for 6 years before selling.
For 20 years, I owned multiple rent houses and every time it froze or we had a strong storm, I worried about what kind of damage I would have at them.
I have worried and continue to worry about properties enough for everyone, so let me do the worrying for YOU, especially in rough weather times.
After the ice storm in 2021 there was a lot of damage that could have been prevented or at the very least mitigated with the proper advanced care.
Unbenownst to most, in most insurance policies there is a clause that denies coverage if the property is not occupied and/or winterized prior to leaving.
These are services that only someone with my background will be privy to.
When it comes to earning and retaining your business I believe in 100% transparency and that is why I have posted a copy of my insurance and background check. And nobody would ever have access to your home without me present.
I hold a valid Texas Real Estate License, Insurance Adjusting License in multiple states, FEMA/Homeland Security background check clearance, member of Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce and National Association of Realtors.
